Whatever you need to get your new stove installed, AH Heating Systems can help. We work closely alongside our local stonemason, Whitaker Brothers, who supply most of the stone for our jobs. All stove installations come with register plate, carbon monoxide smoke detector, stove thermometer and full HETAS certification, as required by law.

Most stove installations will require your chimney to be lined, particularly in houses that have previously been used for open coal fires as they are likely to be porous, leaky or breached. This can affect the pull of the chimney and emit smoke, dangerous fumes, carbon monoxide, and other products of combustion into your property. Breached brickwork and previous inappropriate building alterations can also allow flames and raw heat near combustible materials, leading to possible disastrous or fatal consequences.

All our chimneys are lined using 904/904 flexible flue liners, which means they are made of a 904-grade stainless steel inner and a 904-grade stainless steel outer (triple lock) and come with a 25-year guarantee.
If you are located in a smoke control area, you will also need a special type of DEFRA-approved wood-burning stove.

Woodburning and multi-fuel stoves can only be fitted and legally certificated by fully qualified and registered HETAS installers. Each installation should conform to national and local building regulations, as well as comply with Health & Safety and Fire Safety requirements. Installation by a non-qualified person is a breach of UK law and will result in your home insurance being void.

AH Heating Systems will be happy to come and give you a comprehensive assessment of your chimney, including smoke testing before any installation is carried out with us.
