Cleansing chemicals are also added whilst flushing to add to its effectiveness. The benefits to Powerflushing are that it solves problems with circulation in the system, as sludge causes blockages which prevent parts of the system from getting hot. It can also cure boiler noise problems.

If you’re having a new boiler installed on an existing system, it is advised to have a Powerflush as this will prevent any future problems occurring. For example, if any debris has gathered in the boiler’s heat exchanger, it can cause it to operate noisily, reduce its efficiency or—worst case scenario—can cause the boiler to break down, subsequently voiding most manufacturers’ warranties.
